Interactive Mapping, openCV, 12.2022
This is an interactive projection where the camera captures the movement of the
audience to create particles in the image. Through interactive technology, as the
audience moves their bodies, the code creates a swarm of chimneys and smoke that
cover the sky and the sun as the audience moves around the image. Nature is a
breathing collection of organisms, but it has always been ignored, and now that
urbanisation has caused more damage than nature can heal itself, humans seem to
have a huge power on the planet. This work is a wake-up call through the simple
language of graphics and physical interaction, and it makes people think about how
they can strike a balance with the environment in the midst of urban development.
